• Use the existing product portfolio and support in developing integrated sorting and conveyor technology solutions based on customer requirements • Implement results of the material flow planning in 3D layouts and form the basis for proposal texts and supplier inquiries • Support modernization projects from the quotation phase and accompany them through to customer acceptance • Comply with design rules and coordinate with controls as well as product and simulation experts within the team
Job Requirements
- Successfully completed a degree or comparable technical training in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a similar field
- Ideally, initial professional experience in plant design as well as in steel or mechanical engineering for logistic material flow systems
- Experience with 3D CAD systems (AutoCAD and Navisworks) is an advantage
- Fluent in English
- Enjoy working in a team and contribute to its success through initiative
- Confident manner and enjoy working with internal and external customers

• Investigate the cause and origin of failures, damages, or defects in mechanical systems and components within industrial, commercial, and residential sites. • Analyze the failure of mechanical systems, determine the cause of failures, evaluate the quality of construction, and review design and maintenance procedures. • Perform field investigations, lead multi-party examinations and documentation of damaged property. • Research failure modes, code requirements, and provide recommendations for repair and /or replacement as needed. • Prepare accurate, clear, thorough, and concise reports and related documentation for clients detailing opinions and conclusions. • Participate in multidisciplinary teams on large and complex assignments. • Maintain established relationships with current clients and consultants. • Stay abreast of company policies, procedures and practices; participate in ongoing training and development as assigned or approved to assure knowledge and skills remain current and comprehensive.
• Manage the development, review, and checking of technical documentation, including verification of detailed design drawings, calculations, and compliance documentation. • Work with Autodesk Inventor, MathCAD, AutoCAD, and FEA tools.
