QA Specialist

• Review and analyze business requirements and functional specifications to design detailed, well-structured test cases. • Execute manual and automated testing across multiple Salesforce environments, including Lightning, Classic, and integrated third-party applications. • Perform functional, regression, smoke, UAT, and performance testing for Salesforce customizations, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. • Validate third-party system integrations to ensure end-to-end functionality, data integrity, compliance, and performance. • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using Jira, with test case management, execution, and reporting handled through Jira Xray. • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, provide feedback, and recommend quality improvements. • Validate data accuracy across Salesforce objects, reports, dashboards, and system integrations. • Ensure adequate test coverage and proactively identify quality and risk gaps across Salesforce functionality. • Assist in building, maintaining, and expanding automated test coverage using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Salesforce-specific automation frameworks (e.g., Provar, Copado). • Support the integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions). • Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, execution results, and release sign-off artifacts. • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and QA best practices to continuously improve testing effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance, testing, or system implementation across enterprise platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience testing Salesforce environments, including customizations and integrations.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches.
- Proficiency with Jira and Jira Xray for test management, execution tracking, and reporting.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience testing highly regulated systems or customer-facing platforms preferred.
- Familiarity with Python-based or modern automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright).
- Experience validating data flows and integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows.
- Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
- Salesforce certification preferred (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Developer, or QA-related certifications).
