Transcription Project Manager

• Receive and track audio and files from digital reporters • Assign, coordinate, and track transcription assignments with resources and vendors • Communicate regularly with digital reporters and transcribers regarding audio/transcript status and other client requests • Provide feedback on digital reporter job submissions • Monitor department inbox to promptly respond to client questions and other requests • Field transcription-related phone calls and emails • Maintain and update shared transcription calendars with deadlines • Coordinate deliverables with production department • Guide clients through the client-provided audio transcription request process, including providing cost estimates • Enter job notes in Reporter Base • Perform transcription duties as needed • Provide suggestions on how to improve transcription workflow, policies and procedures through process improvements and/or utilization of technology • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of three years’ experience in an office or customer-service setting or a combination of education and industry experience required.
- Transcription experience preferred.
- Must have superb written and verbal communication skills and experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making skills and good judgment.
- Must be able to work in a professional and confidential environment.
