Role Description We are seeking a skilled Software Developer in Test to join our software quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will design, execute, and analyze load testing strategies to ensure our applications perform reliably under expected and peak user loads. This role is critical in identifying performance bottlenecks, validating scalability, and ensuring systems meet operational requirements before production release. - Automation Tests: Design, build, and maintain robust automated tests for backend services, APIs, and AI enabled systems. - Design & Execute Load Tests: Develop and implement load test plans, scenarios, and scripts to simulate real-world user traffic. - Performance Monitoring: Use tools such as JMeter, BlazeMeter, or similar to monitor system performance, response times, and resource utilization. - Identify & Report Issues: Detect performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and system failures; document findings and provide actionable recommendations. - Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with development, DevOps, and operations to troubleshoot and resolve performance problems. - Maintain Test Environments: Set up, configure, and maintain test environments to replicate production-like conditions. - Generate Reports: Produce detailed performance reports and dashboards for stakeholders and management. - Stay Updated: Keep abreast of performance testing best practices, emerging tools, and industry standards. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in performance testing, load testing, or quality assurance. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in load testing tools (JMeter, BlazeMeter, etc.) - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., C#, Type Script, Java, Python) for automation. - Familiarity with Playwright, Postman, or similar automation testing frameworks. - Understanding of software development life cycle and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with databases, APIs, and distributed systems. - Skilled in AI Agents, cross-device features, and user scenarios. - Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. - Extras: Experience with cloud-based load testing, containerization, and microservices architecture. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $40.00 - $50.00 hourly, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.

• Integrate the interpreter for a domain specific language (DSL) with a GUI written in TypeScript • Implement code-mods and other code refactoring tools • Add features and maintain an interpreter written in Rust, running in WebAssembly • Maintain a language parser and syntax highlighting • Develop and optimize the frontend of our modeling app, focusing on performance and user experience • Collaborate with backend teams to design and implement robust APIs that support the app's code-driven design functionality • Enhance the app's UI/UX by leveraging TypeScript, React, and XState, ensuring that the interface is both powerful and easy to use • Develop delightful CodeMirror extensions that bridge the gap between the user's code and the 3d-model • Implement advanced AST/code-mods, CodeMirror enhancements, and deep integration with WebAssembly (Wasm) for performance improvements • Utilize XState for state management to maintain app consistency and reliability across various user interactions • Apply a deep understanding of JavaScript and browser internals to improve app functionality and performance

• Design, implement, and maintain core systems and services that support our platform’s reliability, performance, and scalability. • Build automation and tooling that reduce operational overhead, improve developer workflows, and enforce system-level consistency. • Develop integrations between our systems and external platforms (e.g., billing, CRM, authentication, analytics). • Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting across services to ensure strong operational visibility. • Architect and maintain infrastructure components (e.g., distributed services, data pipelines, deployment automation). • Contribute to security-focused systems work, such as permissions controls, access flows, and auditability. • Troubleshoot issues across services and layers, backend, infrastructure, and occasionally frontend, taking full ownership from diagnosis to resolution. • Jump into frontend code as needed to close the loop on system-level changes or fix issues that block broader system reliability.

• Design and implement scalable RESTful API endpoints for the AI platform. • Build and optimize backend services in Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask) to handle agent lifecycle management, deployment, and monitoring. • Contribute to secure authentication and authorization systems supporting multi-tenant architecture. • Develop efficient data access layers and database schemas for AI agent operations. • Implement asynchronous task processing for long-running AI workflows. • Collaborate with IC5 engineers on backend architecture and SDK designs, contributing to technical direction while driving execution. • Provide mentorship to IC3 engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices. • Ensure quality and reliability through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and adherence to security standards. • Stay updated on modern backend and AI/agentic frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph).
