.NET Backend Developer, Senior
Compass
• Participate with development squads in Scrum ceremonies (Refinement, Daily, Planning, etc.); • Architect and document solutions based on business needs, validating them through PoCs; • Create architectural artifacts, including schemas, flows, drawings and diagrams; • Guide the squads' Technical Leads on IT-related processes and procedures; • Plan architecture, costs (not necessarily monetary values) and performance for proposed solutions; • Validate integrations between applications (legacy, third-party, cloud vs on-premises, etc.); • Identify and propose improvements to existing solutions; • Document new processes and supported technologies; • Work with development teams to identify technical debt and propose adjustments based on standards set by architecture leadership; • Collaborate with the System Team and support deliveries.
Job Requirements
- Experience with static code analysis (SonarQube), version control (Git and ClearCase), and advanced use of Visual Studio;
- Experience configuring and managing application servers;
- Experience in software architecture (microservices, containers, MVC, MVP, MVVM and multi-tenant);
- Experience developing in .NET (Framework and Core), including ASP.NET Core (MVC and REST APIs), Entity Framework, LINQ, ADO.NET, Dapper, and SQL Server;
- Experience with batch processing in .NET applications;
- Experience with front-end development (Angular 1.5+), responsive interfaces and Progressive Web Applications (PWA), following UX best practices;
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes);
- Experience with systems integration (REST APIs, messaging, Service Bus and Event Hub) and API governance;
- Experience with software engineering practices (CI/CD, TDD, ATDD, refactoring and continuous delivery);
- Experience in software testing (unit, integration, functional, acceptance, load, performance, security, usability and accessibility) with test automation (Selenium, Protractor and JMeter);
- Experience in analysis and definition of requirements (functional, non-functional and agile);
- Strong knowledge of architecture and design (Design Patterns, Enterprise Integration Patterns, SOA and Microservices Patterns);
- Strong command of SQL and ability to build optimized queries;
- Proficiency in Angular (1.5+);
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (Agile Manifesto, Scrum, XP and Kanban);
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational data modeling;
- Knowledge of UX and usability;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (API Management, Event Hub, Service Bus, Key Vault, AKS, Application Insights, Storage Account, App Services and Logic Apps).
