Data Development Operations Manager

• Lead data platform and pipeline engineering • Own the design and delivery of automated data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, orchestration) • Embed DevOps and GitOps best practices across all data solutions • Drive automation to improve reliability, scalability, and speed of delivery • Build and enable modern data platforms • Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development for cloud and hybrid environments • Standardise and optimise platforms such as Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, and SQL • Ensure environments are repeatable, resilient, and cost-efficient • Enable data-driven decision making • Oversee the delivery of dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions • Champion self-service analytics and strong data modelling practices • Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely data across the business • Drive data quality, governance and compliance • Embed governance, security, and regulatory standards (e.g. GDPR) into all data processes • Ensure data integrity across the full lifecycle—from ingestion to reporting • Implement monitoring, alerting, and SLA-driven performance frameworks • Collaborate and lead • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data specialists • Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver impactful data solutions • Manage suppliers and ensure delivery against agreed standards and SLAs
Job Requirements
- Strong experience building and operating Azure-based data platforms
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with enterprise data models
- Expertise in Power BI (including semantic models, DAX, optimisation, governance)
- Proven experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code
- Deep understanding of data engineering, data quality, and lifecycle management
- Proven experience leading teams in complex, matrix environments
- Strong delivery mindset with experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Ability to translate strategy into actionable, high-impact delivery plans
- Analytical, structured problem solver with excellent attention to detail

New York City based Private Equity Fund Administration Firm is looking for a Managing Director - Private Credit Operations to oversee the back-office functions supporting Private Credit fund administration, including trade capture, cash and position reconciliation, securities master maintenance, lifecycle event management, and P&L reconciliation across a diverse range of private credit strategies.
