Rain
• Conducting research on inbound accounts to assess fit, urgency, and potential value • Qualifying inbound leads to identify high-priority opportunities • Communicating Rain’s product and value proposition to prospects, adapting messaging to different audiences • Identifying opportunities to engage internal teams to deepen collaboration with potential partners • Owning deal follow-up and helping move opportunities through the funnel from discovery to close • Supporting deal execution and coordinating handoff to the platform team to ensure successful implementation • Tracking activity and maintaining accurate documentation in CRM tools • Identifying trends in inbound demand and sharing insights with the broader GTM team • Contributing to process improvements that help scale Rain’s inbound motion and improve conversion efficiency • Attending industry conferences to expand your network and build meaningful ecosystem connections
Job Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, customer success, or a related customer-facing role
- High degree of ownership, ambition, and bias toward action
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to structure, negotiate, and close deals
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and consistent follow-through
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth, and high-uncertainty environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess lead quality and prioritize tasks effectively
- Interest in owning deals end-to-end and developing closing skills over time
- Team-oriented and excited to support broader pipeline and revenue goals
- Nice to Have: Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM systems
- Experience in early-stage or fast-paced company environments
- Prior experience in an SDR or sales development role
- Familiarity with automation tools, outbound sequencing, or prospecting workflows
- Experience with or interest in financial services, crypto, and blockchain

Role Description True Environmental is currently seeking a Power & Utilities Market Leader for the Western United States. This is a strategic position for a seller-doer to expand Matrix’s power and utility services practice nationwide. The successful candidate will report to senior leadership and will develop, oversee, and manage complex environmental engineering and remediation projects for key utility clients.
