PR & Communications Specialist

• Define and execute SecureFlag’s PR strategy in line with company positioning, key narratives, and business priorities • Identify and manage PR opportunities, including media outreach, contributed articles, interviews, podcasts, awards, and speaking opportunities • Coordinate with internal subject-matter experts and leadership to develop thought leadership topics and external-facing narratives • Support the execution of SecureFlag’s social media strategy by managing day-to-day activity across key channels in collaboration with the Content Specialist • Schedule, publish, and optimise social media content, ensuring consistent tone, messaging, and alignment with product and campaign priorities • Monitor social media performance and engagement, providing insights to refine content and improve reach • Own the planning and coordination of SecureFlag’s conference presence, including sponsorships, speaking opportunities, booths, logistics, and timelines • Act as the main point of contact with event organisers, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of conferences and industry events • Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging across PR, social media, and events • Stay up to date with trends in cybersecurity, developer communities, and B2B SaaS communications to identify new opportunities for visibility and engagement

Job Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in PR, communications, or a related role within a B2B or tech environment
  • Proven experience defining and executing PR or communications strategies, ideally in SaaS, cybersecurity, or developer-focused industries
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for media, social platforms, and industry audiences
  • Experience managing or supporting social media channels for a B2B brand
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel
  • Bonus: Experience coordinating events or conferences, including logistics, timelines, and external stakeholders. (Training will be provided)
  • Bonus: Experience working with media, analyst relations, developer communities, or cybersecurity events.
