• Design and develop standardized, well-documented APIs using Fastify and OpenAPI spec, ensuring clear versioning and predictable integrations. • Use Stainless and similar tooling to generate SDKs for common languages (TypeScript, Python, etc.). • Implement new features and enhancements across the stack using TypeScript / JavaScript (ESModules), React 19, TailwindCSS, Bootstrap 5.3, and MongoDB. • Maintain and extend BlueHive’s API-first architecture, focusing on modularity, scalability, and performance. • Collaborate with Product and Partner Engineering to integrate with HRIS, ATS, and EHR systems. • Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning to ensure high-quality, maintainable code. • Create automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to support CI/CD pipelines and prevent regressions. • Track work in GitHub Projects and BlueHive’s internal ticketing systems, ensuring progress visibility and alignment with OKRs. • Contribute to internal coding standards and mentor peers on API-driven development best practices. • Leverage AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI API) to improve efficiency, generate code prototypes, and maintain code quality.

• API Design & Development: Architect, build, and document RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs. Focus on best practices for versioning, authentication, security, and performance within enterprise environments. • Full Stack Development: Develop frontend and backend solutions, leveraging preferred technologies such as .NET, Angular, and MSSQL for web applications. Ensure smooth integration of user interfaces, business logic, and data layers. • Agile Iteration: Embrace agile methodologies, rapidly incorporating feedback and evolving requirements. Support flexible, easily modifiable code for fast pivots and enhancements. • DevOps & Collaboration: Prefer experience with Azure DevOps for pipeline automation and project management, Visual Studio and VS Code for development, GitLab for version control and CI/CD, and JIRA for agile workflow and issue tracking. Confluence for documentation and collaboration is also valued. • Database & Management: Prefer experience with MS SQL as a primary database technology, along with proficiency in Management Studio (SSMS) for database administration and development. • Documentation: Produce concise technical documentation and foster knowledge sharing within agile teams.

• Drive the build out of our data and analytics platforms to power analytics and enhanced decision making for SmartMedia Technologies personnel and clients. • Own and lead the development of the data pipeline, including vendor and internally developed technology, with an integrated strategy to harmonize, standardize, and drive a thoughtful roadmap across teams and systems to maximize business value and minimize long term operational cost and risk to the business. • Establish and enforce robust engineering standards (including code review, architectural guidance and active technical mentorship across engineering teams), data governance, and operational practices to ensure continuous improvement in product delivery, data quality, and compliance. • Provide architectural guidance and informed recommendations, balancing delivery speed, scalability, cost, security, and long-term maintainability. • Actively partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery toward shared success for critical business processes and objectives. • Ensure Data & Analytics platform technology and processes across the ecosystem adhere to the SmartMedia Technologies values and all security, data management, and compliance requirements. • Other tasks, duties or special projects as assigned.
