Integration Engineer
OpenAge Initiative
• Serve as primary technical contact for European customers during local business hours • Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions connecting OpenAge/AgeKey services with client systems • Build and troubleshoot integrations across a variety of platforms including game engines, mobile apps, and web • Create and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and code samples • Collaborate with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure high availability
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in software development with focus on systems integration and API development
- Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with RESTful APIs and webhook integrations
- Strong understanding of web technologies and modern frameworks such as NextJS and React
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- 8+ years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with Python as well as OOP languages such as C# or Java (preferred)
- Deep knowledge of digital identity, computer security, cryptography, and user data privacy practices (preferred)
- Experience with various methods of age verification such as facial age estimation, ID verification, mobile driver’s license, etc. (preferred)
- Experience with WebView implementations and cross-platform development (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with native mobile app development (preferred)
- History of leading complex integration projects (preferred)
- Experience with customers across multiple European markets (preferred)
- Familiarity with global youth privacy frameworks such as COPPA and GDPR-K (preferred)
- Proficiency in more than two European languages (preferred).
