• Develop, shape and maintain our modern responsive frontend and backend applications in a test-driven manner within an agile environment • Improve our interactive learning environment by creating new features across the entire stack, and increasing its reliability and performance • Design and implement intuitive user interfaces and seamless user experiences while building robust backend systems to power them • Design and improve APIs to enable integrations with other tools in the HR system tech stack • Build and enhance a real-time reporting system for gaining insights into our customers' learning, from data processing to interactive dashboards • Design and implement AI-powered product features using large language models (LLMs), including content generation, AI-assisted user experiences and other AI-driven capabilities • In a team, decide on all technical and design challenges and lay the foundation to scale our business.

• Own projects end-to-end: design, development, deployment, and ongoing support • Build and maintain backend systems and APIs • Integrate with third-party platforms and external services • Develop automation workflows to streamline internal processes • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions • Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment • Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making

• Develop Java-based solutions, working towards well-structured, high-quality code with automated testing • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, internal engineering teams, and stakeholders to contribute to high-impact projects • Work within real-world constraints to develop creative solutions that work towards platform flexibility and scalability • Contribute to best practices for CI/CD, data modeling, and iterative development (e.g., PoCs, rapid prototyping, milestone-based execution) • Actively participate in a strong technical culture of respect, open communication, and collaboration • Write and maintain technical documentation • Drive and embody the “Dev Owns Quality” culture • Other duties as assigned

- Own day-to-day engineering delivery - Ensure tickets are clear, prioritized, and moving - Review and approve pull requests - Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and maintainability - Help engineers break down work and make good technical decisions - Mentor team members and increase autonomy - Identify risks and escalate early - Improve processes so we become faster and more predictable - Act as the first point of contact instead of the CTO for developers
