Job Description

Chief Engineer – Mechanical, Electrical, Controls Systems

ADC Energy Ltd.

• Conduct drilling rig equipment condition audits in accordance with ISO 19011 Guidelines for Management System Audits • Provide the Client with a valid assessment and report on the availability, reliability and fit-for-purpose of all mechanical equipment and systems relating to the control of rig power, drilling, hoisting, marine and safety critical (excluding BOP) equipment • May be required to provide specialist advice, operational support or training material to clients upon request • Work worldwide with a target maximum period of 28 days at a time based in Aberdeen.

Job Requirements

  • Degree level education or equivalent in related field
  • 20 years’ experience in relevant field
  • Chief Engineer level or equivalent
  • Experience in operation and maintenance of power, drilling, hoisting and marine systems
  • Background in test and evaluation of complex systems
  • Team player, capable of liaising with operational, technical and professional personnel from Company, Client and Governmental organisations.
