Role Description Reporting to the Director, Philanthropy Coordination, the Manager, Philanthropy Coordination is a key cross-functional convener and strategist within the Philanthropy Division, working across UUSA. The role is critical to advancing organization-wide initiatives to drive UUSA’s aspirational goal to consistently reach $1 billion of impact annually. - Partner with the Director to prioritize, convene, facilitate, and project manage the implementation of integrated strategies across Individual Philanthropy, Institutional Philanthropy, and Philanthropy Insight. - Maximize fundraising outcomes, constituent engagement experiences, brand moments, and thought leadership opportunities that support UUSA’s operating and strategic plan. - Execute strategic priorities that align cross-divisionally and intersect with marketing, brand, thought leadership, advocacy, and program spheres. Position Responsibilities - Executing Strategic Initiatives (60%): - Brainstorm, prioritize, and execute intersectional strategies across Philanthropy, Marketing and Communications, Executive Office, Public Affairs, and Programs. - Lead cross-functional coordination to reduce silos across teams and advance shared priorities. - Identify, develop, and implement strategic priorities that advance UUSA’s operating and strategic plan. - Project manage select Philanthropy initiatives and thematic strategies to ensure timely deliverables and accountability. - Lead meetings and strategy sessions to drive consensus and alignment among key stakeholders. - Synthesize and develop processes within Philanthropy to create efficient and streamlined methods for collaboration. - Maximize impact by navigating streamlined information gathering and dissemination in support of philanthropy objectives. - Drive UUSA’s Leadership Team members’ participation in global convenings. - Support strategy development of cross-cutting initiatives or campaigns that advance donor engagement and fundraising opportunities. - Facilitation & Communication (40%): - Serve as the focal point for ad-hoc requests to leverage philanthropy assets for partners or prospects. - Lead the administration of the Philanthropy Division’s emergency activation protocols. - Lead information gathering and capturing of cross-sectoral opportunities across Philanthropy. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience - Minimum 4 years’ experience in nonprofit fundraising, project management, communications, or related fields - Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and navigate change - Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically with a desire to innovate - Experience facilitating meetings and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels - Highly organized with strong project management and communication skills - Client-service mindset and strong relationship-building abilities - Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems (BBCRM preferred) - Familiarity with full-funnel and inclusive philanthropy preferred - Commitment to UNICEF USA’s mission; international development or humanitarian experience a plus
