Associate Director, Value Strategy, Dossiers – Technical Assessments
Baylor Genetics
• Lead the development of the Value Dossier with a cross-functional core team. Manage diverse points of view in order to capture the appropriate value proposition for payers. • Align the value proposition with the access strategy. • Develop value messages with supporting evidence to convey value proposition to payers. • Identify gaps in evidence for potential future studies. • Assess payer policies for opportunities for value propositions to obtain coverage with payer customers • Achieve desired access and coverage decisions for BG tests by using the Value Dossier to develop Technical Assessments aligned with the payers’ required formats. • Responsible for engagement with PalmettoGBA on Technical Assessments • Ensure development of Value Dossiers aligned with launch timelines for all key tests in the pipeline • Review Z-code submissions/status • Lead development of team and processes to deliver high quality dossiers • Monitor and track market trends regarding required Technical Assessments • Uphold company mission and values; ensure compliance in all company policies and guidelines • Adheres to Code of Conduct as outlined in the Baylor Genetics Compliance Program • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of experience with NGS, molecular diagnostics, and/or genetics
- Experience with MolDX Technical Assessments and demonstrated success with coverage of genetic tests
- Knowledge of the payer payment system in the U.S.
- Experience with new product/test development
- Ability to capture messaging and evidence into a single document to reflect the value proposition of the BG test
- Ability to manage projects and work effectively in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively on complex clinical and economic matters to internal partners and external customers
- Experience in medical writing with ability to synthesize complex information and write dossiers/technical assessments to convey the value of genetic tests
- Experience working with lab teams to gather analytical validity information for payers
- Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills
- Experience with leading teams
- Ability to deliver results, individually and leading a team, according to specified deadlines and project plans

Role Description The Manitoba Net Zero Innovation Network (MNZIN) serves as the operational engine driving Manitoba’s ambitious Path to Net Zero strategy.
