CO-OP Architecture
• Serve as a strategic commodity subject‑matter expert supporting FCL, Pod teams, and Centre Store Operation Advisors to deliver programs aligned with business goals, growth strategies, and member expectations. • Drive category growth and space optimization by identifying consumer‑relevant opportunities, leading space allocation initiatives, and using data‑driven insights to improve sales, margin, and return on space. • Lead merchandising, marketing, and promotional programs, including POS/POP, signage strategy, CASM feedback, Blackhawk and gift card initiatives, and clear promotional guidance to ensure strong in‑store execution. • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Category Management, Digital e‑Commerce, Marketing, Operations, Food Safety, and Consumer Products teams to optimize assortment, private label, omni‑channel programs, sanitation standards, and operational efficiency. • Develop and deliver operational standards and training, including SOPs, CRS‑wide training materials, and facilitation of commodity and leadership training to drive consistent execution and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- 6-9 years of retail sales/marketing experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Marketing. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Food Safety Certification is required.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Programs and Genesis Software is an asset.
