Role Description We’re hiring a Director of Acquisition to own and optimize our inbound growth engine across paid and organic channels, reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing & Strategy. You will lead a group of seasoned performance marketers and be accountable for pipeline, operational efficiency, and forecast accuracy. Your mandate is simple: - Build a scalable, AI-native acquisition engine that drives predictable, revenue-efficient pipeline growth. - Allocate capital with precision, continuously optimizing for pipeline, CAC, and long-term return. What you’ll do: - Revenue & Performance Ownership - Own inbound pipeline and multi-quarter growth forecasting, grounded in conversion, velocity, and revenue assumptions. - Deliver performance predictability — proactively managing variance, efficiency, and capital allocation. - Leadership & Standards - Lead and elevate senior performance marketers by setting uncompromising standards for rigor, accountability, and strategic clarity. - Design structured planning, experimentation, and review cadences that eliminate siloed optimization and drive portfolio-level thinking. - Operational Discipline - Implement documented channel strategies, revenue-linked scorecards, and defined experimentation frameworks before scaling spend. - Ensure clean attribution alignment, executive-ready reporting, and decisions grounded in measurable business impact, not channel optics. - Channel & Portfolio Mastery - Maintain deep fluency across Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO/GEO, and cross-channel budget modeling, with the ability to audit, diagnose, and reset strategy when needed. - Optimize at the portfolio level, balancing efficiency curves and incremental return across channels. - AI as Competitive Advantage - Build AI-enabled workflows that materially improve velocity, insight generation, forecasting accuracy, and operator leverage. - Use AI to increase experimentation speed and performance efficiency, not as embedded infrastructure. Qualifications - 7+ years in B2B acquisition/performance marketing (SaaS preferred). - 2+ years managing performance marketing teams. - Demonstrated success scaling inbound pipeline with multi-million dollar budgets. - Deep expertise across Google Ads, LinkedIn, paid social, and SEO. - Demonstrated experience scaling pipeline efficiently (not just traffic). - Strong analytical capabilities (Excel/Sheets proficiency required). - Experience with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.). - Strong understanding of attribution models and funnel metrics. - Clear track record of experimentation and iterative optimization. - You’ve thrived in demanding environments with outsized impact and have experienced what great execution looks like at speed. Requirements - AI Fluency (Required) - Daily user of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.). - Experience applying AI to creative generation, data analysis, or workflow automation. - Strong prompting skills and ability to QA AI outputs. - Bias toward automation and operational leverage. Benefits - Competitive salary and meaningful equity opportunities. - Healthcare, dental, and vision coverage. - 401(k) / RRSP enrolment program. - Take what you need PTO. Company Description Our mission is to deliver one platform for maintenance, repair & operations teams to keep the physical world running. We believe the greatest asset in any organization is the people. That’s why we built an intuitive, mobile-first solution to help boost productivity and collaboration across teams and locations. MaintainX is committed to creating a diverse environment. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
