Engagement Director

Valiantys - Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner

• Own executive stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor to senior client leaders. • Build and maintain account strategies tied to measurable business outcomes. • Lead discovery and advisory workshops, including problem framing, value stream mapping, OKR definition, DevEx, SDLC, ITSM modernization, and operating model discussions. • Translate client needs into clear narratives covering current state, target outcomes, roadmap, solution approach, risks, adoption needs, and value hypotheses. • Partner with Account Executives on opportunity shaping, account planning, growth strategy, renewal, expansion, and executive positioning. • Orchestrate the right delivery squads and subject matter experts, including solution architects, enterprise architects, change/adoption specialists, and reporting or data experts. • Govern delivery outcomes through steering committees, executive check-ins, strategic risk management, escalation leadership, and outcome tracking. • Stay engaged through key moments in the client lifecycle, including pre-sales, kickoff, discovery, solution design, delivery quality checkpoints, escalations, close-out, and renewal or expansion discussions. • Track engagement outcomes, benefits, and success metrics with clients and internal teams. • Maintain strategic visibility into engagement margin, cost, and consumption risks, and work with delivery and commercial teams to address issues early. • Identify and shape change-order or expansion opportunities in partnership with delivery and commercial teams. • Ensure knowledge is captured from engagements, including lessons learned, reusable assets, case studies, reference architectures, and value proof points. • Co-create repeatable IT services offers and playbooks that strengthen Valiantys' advisory and delivery capabilities.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading strategic client engagements in IT services, consulting, enterprise software, digital transformation, or a related field.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to build trust with senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • A consultative approach to problem framing, discovery, roadmap creation, and value realization.
  • Ability to connect business outcomes with technical delivery, operating model change, adoption, and measurable impact.
  • Experience partnering with sales, delivery, project management, solution architecture, and technical teams.
  • Strong facilitation skills, including the ability to run discovery sessions, executive workshops, steering committees, and outcome reviews.
  • Comfort operating across the full engagement lifecycle, from pre-sales and opportunity shaping through delivery governance, escalation, close-out, and expansion.
  • Strong judgment around delivery risk, client expectations, scope boundaries, and executive communication.
  • Ability to turn client work into repeatable assets, offers, playbooks, and reference stories.
