Operations Associate – Contract
Embark Student Corp.
• Fulfil incoming customer requests including withdrawals, RESP transfers, and other subscriber and beneficiary changes accurately and within established service standards • Ensure all transactions are processed according to ESDC, CRA and RQ regulations • Administer and maintain contracts according to operational and regulatory standards by ensuring adherence to Operational SOPs • Provide SME expertise / UAT assistance in such projects as Statement of Account, Annual Tax Filing, and other system enhancements • Provide timely feedback for process improvements and SOP updates • Other tasks and duties assigned by the Manager
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience preferably in the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of registered products and mutual funds operations is an asset
- Aptitude for numbers, attention to detail and excellent investigative skills with the proven ability to proactively identify a problem and a solution
- Excellent interpersonal skills, conflict resolution skills to determine win-win solutions and outcome.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Ability to quickly adapt to change, multitask with proven organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while adhering to service standards
- Flexibility to work a schedule as demanded by the needs of the business as well as overtime at peak periods
- Security and privacy focused with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Constantly strive to improve processes
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Undergraduate diploma or degree preferred
