Role Description The QA Tester will be responsible for testing Fixed Income Pricing Engines, Trading Systems, Analytic Tools, Allocation and Settlement functionalities, their interfaces and integration with other applications. Successful candidates must have excellent Quality Assurance and Control experience in testing and validating investment banking products, Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives Markets. Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off sites. Job Responsibilities - Write test scenarios and test scripts based upon Product specification documents and business user interactions. - Create test scenarios based on understanding of systems for integration testing, regression testing, new functionality, and stress/performance conditions. - Use automated test tools to validate Market Data Feed. - Build test repository and document all test cases. - Document test progress and incident tracking. - Perform Functional testing of Electronic Trading, Pricing and Analytic Systems. - Execute test cases and execution suites. - Track issues found during SIT and throughout QA lifecycle. - Use database scripts to execute and validate market data. - Setup test environment and configuration files to perform integration testing. Qualifications - 5-10 Years testing Experience with exposure to Real Time Trading Systems. - Good understanding of Equity Derivatives Markets is a must. - Knowledge of FIX protocol and messaging API. - Hands-on experience in testing Fixed Income Trading Systems. - Good understanding of Test Life Cycle and SDLC. - Excellent knowledge of Quality Assurance Methodologies. - Excellent problem solving, planning and analytical skills. - Excellent documentation skills. - Strong communications skills with a demonstrable ability to interact and influence at all levels within the organization as well as with clients. - Demonstrable experience of managing, owning and delivering high quality projects to objectives and within time scales. - Good working knowledge of application integration and testing. - Extensive knowledge and experience on supporting fixed income products including Interest Rate Swap, US Equities, MBS and US Treasuries. - Ability to work under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. - Ability to manage multiple ongoing work streams simultaneously. - Hands-on approach with ability to deliver to commitments. - Strong customer service focus with a desire to deliver a high-quality service. - A desire to learn and improve skills and knowledge. - Energetic, enthusiastic and flexible. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid relationships with business users and customers in IT. - Team player, but able to work under own initiative. - Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. - Articulate with ability to communicate at all levels, both orally and in writing. - Have a proactive style, be able to follow through on commitments and understand the importance of deadlines.
