• Supervise a team of engineers/technicians for the installation, pre-commissioning, and maintenance of HVDC Valve Solutions. • Coordinate valve site activities and report on progress and results. • Lead/Supervise team in field assembly, repair and maintenance • Carry out quality monitoring and traceability of works. • Ensure security and strengthen EHS culture of all stakeholders. • Participate in the Valve Risk Register to escalate high risks to project team. • Lead Non-Conformities in relation to valve site activities.

• The Commissioning Engineer shall be responsible for testing and executing commissioning activities of various projects under execution in GSI as per GE Quality, Construction & Commissioning & EHS Process and guidelines. • Fully responsible for coordination with customer representatives to ensure client compliance & satisfaction as per the contract. • The position holder reports to the Regional Commissioning Team Leader. • Requires 100% construction site presence during the execution phase. • Liaise with design office and PM team for timely issuance of data required for preparation of site works (specs, designs, BOQ, material lists, …) • Prepare Commissioning documentation like ITPs, Checklists etc. • Electrical and functional testing (hands on testing as standalone tester) of Primary and Secondary devices on the switchyards. • Publish test reports and follow up completion of relevant quality documentation. • Compliance with the contract requirements and the project Quality Plan. • Monitoring, recording, and reporting of the given work progress. • Ensure all Testing & Commissioning activities are performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

• Oversee technical advisory to ensure compliance with the Contract Service Agreement (CSA). • Align with CPM on resources and logistics for maintenance activities. • Provide technical advisory and supervision during routine maintenance. • Support customer during preventive/corrective maintenance and troubleshoot trips/unplanned events. • Manage inventory of spares to ensure contract compliance. • Provide technical direction to craft labor during outages.
