Social & Influencer Marketing Manager

Role Description As a Social & Influencer Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for: - Ownership of YouTube IN’s Shorts and Shopping Social Marketing mandate, overseeing social Go-To-Market strategy and influencer campaign management. - Briefing and working with agency partners to align, develop, and ensure deliverables are completed on time for both YouTube Shorts and YouTube Shopping. - Developing Go To Market strategies for social marketing activations, including owned and operated social and the social of allied partners (talent, labels, partners, etc.) to drive business, marketing, and social goals. - Working closely with external partners to align plans and ensure deliverables are executed smoothly. - Informing internal teams of key trends and/or brand crisis situations on social media that can impact the business. - Implementing paid media to drive reach. - Developing strategies and plans around recruitment and optimization of influencer plans, understanding the influencer and content creator ecosystem in India. - Ensuring agency execution aligns with the marketing brief while maintaining brand and partner guidelines. - Maintaining good working relationships with influencer agencies, talent management agencies, and content creators. - Collaborating with colleagues in YouTube India marketing and business teams as well as the YouTube social teams across APAC and IN to align, inform, and receive support for social marketing plans. - Exhibiting great communication and presentation skills to represent work well in forums with key stakeholders. - Being a great team player with an experimentative and dynamic mindset. - Analyzing successes, failures, learnings, and way forward on initiatives and experiments, and socializing the same with cross-functional teams. - Continuous optimization of influencer plans based on feedback, learnings, and results. - Proactiveness and willingness to run robust experiments to optimize influencer marketing plans that inform future marketing strategies. - Ensuring YouTube India social is at the crux of topicality in the Indian social media ecosystem. Qualifications - BA/BS degree or equivalent experience. - Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in social media marketing and influencer marketing across agencies or client side. - Strong understanding of the KOF Short Format Video Ecosystem in India, SFV influencers, and cutting-edge social and marketing work in the market. - Proficiency in project management and marketing execution across channels and markets. - Good record of creativity and data-driven optimization, especially in social media marketing. - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced dynamic environment, handling complex budgets and multiple campaigns. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong understanding of social media best practices and campaigns in India and around the world. - Experience in social analytics, knowledge of social media monitoring and listening tools. - Strong strategic thinking and comfort with data-backed decision making. - Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with independence and a strong sense of ownership. - Proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills. - Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills, and innovative thinking for campaign rollout. - Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies. - Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial; ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical.
