Role Description We are looking for a motivated, self-starter to join our growing team. This will be a diverse and interesting technical position in a rapidly evolving sector. The role would involve working with a broad range of people from Mine Managers and Engineers to Software Developers and Data Scientists. It will have a significant focus on the use of mining technology and data, and can be broken down into three broad remits: - Mine Site Studies: Assist with on-site analysis to identify and quantify an operation’s unique challenges, and to provide recommendations on how they can be overcome. - Implementation of Mining Technology: Assist mines in measuring, managing and addressing these challenges (ranging from software and solution deployments through to change management and mentoring sessions). - Effective Data Visualisations: Develop and deploy appropriate and robust data visualisations (PowerBI and Tableau) to enable a site to manage specific challenges on an ongoing basis. Training and mentoring will be provided to develop the individual’s technical expertise as required. As a Lead Mining Optimisation Consultant, you will be expected to lead, manage and deliver projects for our clients across the globe. This will include managing and mentoring junior members of the team and providing progress updates to the senior management team.
