• operate within a collaborative Corporate Affairs Team • connect media, patient advocacy, and public policy into a single, coherent external communications strategy for argenx in the U.S. • define and drive how they work together to shape perception, inform stakeholders, and support business priorities • drive and execute external communications strategies that reinforce argenx’s corporate narrative across media, patient advocacy, and policy audiences in the U.S. • translate company priorities, scientific progress, and pipeline developments into clear, cohesive corporate storytelling that resonates beyond individual products • develop and execute coordinated communications approaches that connect earned media, patient advocacy engagement, and policy context into a unified external presence • partner with Product Communications and other teams to ensure corporate narrative is clearly and consistently reflected around key business moments • monitor the external environment across media, advocacy, and policy landscapes to identify emerging risks and opportunities • drive alignment across Corporate Affairs, Patient Advocacy, Government Affairs, and Product Communications

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs, media relations, patient advocacy communications, or similar (ideally in biotech, pharma, health / life sciences)
  • demonstrated experience in issues / crisis communications, especially in a regulated environment
  • demonstrated experience working with advocacy groups, patient groups, and rare disease organizations
  • familiarity with U.S. health, policy, regulatory, reimbursement and/or legislative environment
  • excellent writing, editorial, and presentation skills
  • ability to distill complex scientific / technical information into clear, compelling narratives
  • strong relationships with U.S. media in biotech / health
  • experience working with senior executives as spokespeople
  • comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment

The Communications Manager advances Pace’s voice, visibility, and influence through strategic storytelling, digital engagement, media support, and high-quality communications execution. Salary: $76,500 - $85,000 Remote Position – Must reside in Florida or Georgia Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - Five or more years of communications, marketing, public relations, or related experience. - Strong writing, editing, and project management skills. Role Description The intern’s primary responsibility will be to assist the Right Whale Festival coordinator and planning committee with efforts to promote the 2026 Right Whale Festival and North Atlantic right whale conservation. Each year, Clearwater Marine Aquarium Research Institute (CMARI) hosts the Right Whale Festival to celebrate the seasonal return of endangered right whales and build public awareness for the species. The 2026 Festival will be held on Saturday, November 7th & Sunday, November 8th at the Main Beach Park on Fernandina Beach, Florida. With less than 380 remaining, this family-fun event raises awareness of the threats to right whales and how we can help in their recovery. The festival highlights local efforts to protect these whales from extinction, as well as ocean-themed activities and exhibits that emphasize education and environmentally responsible adventures and products. This intern will: - Develop a digital communications strategy for promoting the festival through various online resources, including but not limited to social media, event calendars, web ads, and blogs. - Include a proposed budget, content ideation, and implementation schedules in the strategy. - Prepare a series of social media posts to be scheduled from the end of the internship through the date of the festival. - Prepare written content for other outreach and communication needs. The internship will span TBD (May through mid-November preferable). The intern will be required to attend weekly Zoom update meetings with the Right Whale Festival Coordinator, as well as a monthly planning committee meeting. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, detail oriented, readily able to adapt to change, and able to work independently.
