Investment Operations Associate

• Data entry, updates, and integrity protection of investments within multiple investment management systems • Creation of loan schedules and interest accruals, entry of payments and valuations • Support swift response to all investment notifications and corporate actions via ticket management system • Review and support execution for assigned investment actions • Monitor expected or overdue loan payments and maturity • Monitor direct equity portfolio and subsequent priced rounds • Conduct periodic research of potentially distressed investments to inform Portfolio Health Monitoring • Log and save investment reporting for internal and client access, and secure past due reporting • Identification of positive portfolio news in reports, newsletters, and other communications, to give voice to and amplify the positive impact of our Portfolio • Identify new process improvements to maintain a world-class, efficient operation • Support cross-functional projects and process improvement opportunities

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in accounting, finance, data science, investment operations, financial services, or investment management
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exposure to impact investing and/or private market investing across asset classes (debt, equity, real assets, project finance) and investment types
  • Demonstrable investment experience with private debt/equity structures and private funds a plus
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Experience with data entry and working with large datasets
  • Prior experience with investment management systems a plus
  • Prior experience with ticket management systems a plus
  • Proven fluency in Excel
  • Quick learner, with the ability to quickly parse and understand a variety of lengthy investment documents and structures
  • Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Pride in efficient processing and quick response times
  • Highly attuned organizational skills, attention to detail, professional demeanor, ability to work independently, and prioritize competing demands
  • Experience working in a virtual working environment preferred

This role is dedicated to managed care contracting – you will learn to read payer contracts (commercial and government), model reimbursement terms in our existing tools, and enhance those tools with automation using SQL and Python.
