Role Description Lead a team of people to manage, receive and store potatoes and other vegetables in Simplot’s potato and cool store storage facilities in a safe, environmentally compliant and cost-effective manner. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement a storage plan for the intake of storage potatoes whilst meeting all safety, environmental and cost targets. - Lead a team in storage operations as well as monitor, analyse, report and develop ways to continually improve. - Oversee the monitoring, repairs and maintenance to facilities and equipment. Lead and contribute to capital projects. - Support and train team members in the skills they require to safely and efficiently perform their work. Lead standard work procedure development, maintenance and compliance. - Support research and development activities as it relates to storage and production programs as well as participate and collaborate with other Simplot teams and stakeholders. Experience working with a variety of sponsor types is preferred, including federal government agencies, state and local governments, nonprofit organizations, private foundations, and commercial entities. - Under minimal supervision and guidance, the Mid-Level/Senior Contract & Grant Administrator independently performs moderate to highly complex contract and grant administration activities, including proposal submission, negotiation, execution, and administration of RAND's sponsored research agreements. - Assignments at this level require the use of independent judgment and initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations.
