Corporate Development Manager
Oklo Inc
• Build and maintain detailed financial models for target companies and transaction scenarios. • Conduct valuation analyses using DCF, precedent transactions, and comparable company multiples. • Lead and support cross-functional due diligence processes. • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including legal, finance, product, and business teams. • Assist in deal structuring, negotiations, and integration planning. • Support long-term corporate strategy development and execution. • Prepare board materials, investment memos, and executive-level presentations. • Work closely with executive leadership and business unit heads to assess strategic priorities. • Maintain relationships with bankers, VCs, founders, and other ecosystem players. • Identify and evaluate M&A, investment, and strategic partnership opportunities aligned with company goals. • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Job Requirements
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting.
- Demonstrated experience in transaction execution and due diligence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for technology and strategic growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; or MBA.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and value-driven strategies.
- Proven ability to build and manage senior relationships across financial, commercial, and government sectors.
- Exceptional financial modeling, research, and analytical skills, with a knack for turning insights into recommendations.
- Passion for market trends, innovation, and competitive dynamics.
- Highly self-directed, with a track record of independently owning and delivering complex, cross-functional projects.
