Role Description We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for professionals experienced in insurance underwriting, submission review, risk assessment, pricing documentation, and structured underwriting workflow analysis. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on: - Structured underwriting review - Insurance workflow analysis - Submission assessment - Documentation review - Scenario development - High-quality project execution Selected professionals will apply their underwriting expertise to: - Review realistic insurance scenarios - Evaluate risk and documentation requirements - Prepare structured written outputs - Support accurate, evidence-based underwriting workflow tasks Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in commercial, specialty, personal lines, E&S, or related underwriting work at a carrier, MGA, wholesale broker, retail broker, or insurance organization - Experience with one or more lines of business such as property, general liability, professional liability, workers compensation, cyber, specialty lines, personal lines, or commercial package underwriting - Strong understanding of submission review, appetite guidelines, risk classification, rating manuals, quote preparation, referral memos, bind documentation, or underwriting decision workflows - Familiarity with underwriting platforms such as Duck Creek, Guidewire, carrier systems, broker systems, or similar tools - Comfort reading and preparing underwriting artifacts such as submission packages, risk reports, quote letters, referral memos, bind documentation, broker correspondence, and issuance materials - Strong written communication skills and ability to explain underwriting reasoning clearly - Ability to follow structured instructions and produce evidence-based work Requirements - A degree or professional background in insurance, risk management, business administration, finance, economics, legal studies, underwriting, or a related field is helpful - Equivalent practical experience in underwriting, brokerage, risk assessment, insurance documentation, or underwriting workflow review is also highly relevant Benefits - Apply insurance underwriting expertise to structured remote project work - Contribute to high-quality underwriting review, risk assessment, and documentation analysis - Work on flexible, project-based assignments aligned with your professional background - Use your underwriting judgment in a focused, detail-oriented consulting environment - Remote structure with competitive hourly compensation Contract Details - Independent contractor role - Fully remote with flexible scheduling - Part-time commitment depending on project availability - Competitive rates between $75–$105 per hour depending on expertise - Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise - Projects may be extended, shortened, or adjusted depending on scope and performance - Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution About the Platform This opportunity is available through 24-MAG LLC.
