Join our Team About this opportunity: The role involves providing comprehensive Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) support and guidance within the assigned project(s). The position ensures compliance with legal, customer, and internal EHS requirements. It includes leading EHS initiatives, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in safety practices within the assigned project(s). What you will do: - Develop and implement comprehensive Project Safety Plans in alignment with Ericsson and customer requirements, execute project-specific EHS strategies to ensure proactive risk management and continuous improvement. - Ensure compliance with customer & local regulatory requirements and within Ericsson's EHS framework, maintain a positive, collaborative, and transparent relationship with the customer. - Apply Contractor Management to assure compliance with Ericsson & customer (all through Selection & Evaluation, Onboarding, and Performance tracking & auditing processes). - Ensure proper EHS Injection for new field operation, including internal or external team members, as well as the company and individuals and follow up the compliance with ASP's. - Monitor the daily Field activities and identify any deviation from EHS adherence by ASPs, Internal Field operations delivery, Implementing the EHS governance to ensure it is effective and arrange Governance EHS meeting with ASP's. - Review the issues/violation on Gensuite and follow up the progress with the ASP's. - Supervise, control, and report EHS performance and inspection results. This may include internal project audits, suppliers, or any other areas of Ericsson operations. - Act for EHS-related inquiries, communications from the customer. - Understand, interpret, and communicate the customer's specific EHS requirements, standards, and expectations to relevant internal teams in Ericsson and for ASP. - Prepare and submit required EHS performance data, incident reports audit results, identifying root causes and ensuring corrective and preventive actions and compliance documentation directly to the customer in their preferred format and frequency. - Promote and enhance the safety culture across the project team and ASPs (Approved Service Providers) through training, engagement, and leadership initiatives. The skills you bring: - Bachelor's degree with scientific background (Engineering is preferred) - NEBOSH certification. - Robust understanding of compliance requirements, monitoring guidelines, and standards. - 5-7 years of validated experience as Safety Manager/Officer. - 3 years of experience in Telecommunications and field maintenance operations is must. - ISO 45001 lead auditor, ISO 14001 lead auditors are desirable. - Proven record of leading a small team. - Proven experience in conducting formal incident investigations and RCA. - Experience in Emergency Preparedness, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity. - Knowledge and experience in developing and deploying behavioral safety programs to address health and psychosocial risks would be preferred. - Proven experience in evaluating, monitoring, and EHS performance tracking of contractors. - Experience in developing Health & Safety documents (e.g. OHS plans, risk assessments, method statements) - Risk Management skills. - Professional reporting, and presentation skills. - Excellent communication, persuading, and influencing skills. - Team player who can build and maintain internal & external relationships. Role Description Scientific Review Officer (Part Time On Call) GDIT assists federal, state and private grant-funding agencies helping them identify the most promising research projects to fund by conducting a fair and thorough assessment of scientific merit by a panel of expert reviewers. GDIT has the capability of working with a diverse portfolio of research programs including multiple cancer research areas (e.g. breast, prostate, lung, kidney), neurosciences (e.g. autism, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, epilepsy) and areas of interest in military health (e.g. traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, psychological health, orthopedics) plus educational research. Rigorous and fair peer review is the foundation of sound grant funding decisions. We are currently seeking Scientific Review Officers (SROs) to join our team. As an SRO you will work remotely on an intermittent basis, helping identify qualified reviewers who have relevant subject matter expertise. Also, SROs help manage the peer review process, so the reviewers consistently apply the program's review criteria to all applications. The SRO position is a part time on call position on a long-term basis with variable time requirements along the review cycle. To remain in good standing on the team SROs will typically work a minimum of 3-4 Peer Review projects per year. High performers may work on up to 9-10 Peer Review projects. Billable hours for each Peer Review project will vary depending on the size and complexity of the assignment. While SRO positions are home-based with flexible hours, they also require flexibility in the candidates’ schedule to be available for up to 8 hours on certain days and may require travel to peer review meetings as needed (each meeting may require up to a 4-day travel commitment). Candidates should not have a current research grant or be applying for research grants, or work for federally funded programs.
