BIM AutoCAD Drafter

Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM AutoCAD Drafter to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and AutoCAD drafting, with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality technical drawings and models. Candidates located near Tucson, Arizona are preferred to support regional project coordination when needed. Key Responsibilities - Develop, modify, and maintain detailed 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using AutoCAD and BIM software (e.g., Revit). - Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical documentation. - Ensure all drawings and models comply with company standards and project specifications. - Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines. - Manage drawing revisions and maintain organized file structures. - Assist with coordination between disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP). - Participate in virtual meetings and coordinate with project teams as required. Qualifications - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 2+ years of experience using AutoCAD in a professional setting. - Experience with BIM software such as Revit. - Strong understanding of construction documents and drafting standards. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and file management systems. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications - Experience working on projects in the Southwest U.S. (especially Arizona). - Familiarity with local building codes and standards. - Experience with additional tools such as Navisworks, Civil 3D, or Bluebeam. - Knowledge of MEP or structural drafting is a plus.
