Database Reliability Engineer

• support and enhance the firm’s data ecosystem across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments • serve as a technical owner for mission-critical database systems • ensure maximum availability and reliability of mission-critical database systems across hybrid infrastructure • administer, configure, and optimize SQL Server 2016+ Always On availability groups, clustering, and replication topologies • manage Windows patching and SQL Server cumulative updates • lead major database upgrade initiatives • troubleshoot complex database issues and conduct root cause analysis • collaborate cross-functionally to design scalable, resilient database architectures • partner closely with Enterprise Applications, Application Development, IT, and PMO teams
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of SQL Server administration experience
- SQL Server 2016+
- high availability technologies (Always On Availability Groups, clustering, replication)
- Deep understanding of both cloud and on-prem data environments
- Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance
- Hands-on experience with enterprise SQL monitoring and backup platforms
- Automate operational workflows using PowerShell
- Support and optimize Power BI Service and Power BI Server
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related conflicts experience or equivalent

Role Description Triumph is looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking Lead DevOps Engineer to help scale and strengthen our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you’ll lead the design and evolution of secure, reliable, and high-performing systems while partnering closely with engineering, security, and operations teams. You’ll spend your day ensuring our cloud platforms run smoothly and efficiently optimizing Kubernetes clusters, improving CI/CD pipelines, and partnering with teams to deliver scalable, secure applications. From troubleshooting complex issues to rolling out automation and guiding infrastructure strategy, your work will directly impact performance and developer productivity across the organization.
