Job Description

Search & Growth Manager

XTM International

Role Description We're currently hiring for a Search & Growth Manager to join us! You are a mid-level search professional who does the work - not just directs it. You set up paid campaigns from scratch, monitor them daily, make optimisations, and bring clear recommendations to the team. You own both paid and organic search, and you are building our presence in the AI-generated answer layer. You use AI tools to move faster and work smarter, but the hands-on execution is yours. Responsibilities - Paid Search — Setup, Management & Optimisation - Campaign Setup: Set up paid search campaigns from scratch in Google Ads and Bing - keyword research, match types, ad groups, ad copy, bidding strategy, and extensions. - Daily Management: Monitor campaigns daily; identify underperformers, adjust bids, pause wasteful spend, and act on opportunities without waiting to be asked. - Ongoing Optimisation: Optimise continuously - Quality Scores, CTR, landing page relevance, negative keyword lists, and audience targeting. - Recommendations: Bring structured recommendations to the team on budget allocation, new campaign ideas, and strategic shifts, backed by data. - Full-Funnel Tracking: Use HubSpot Ads integration to track performance from click to closed-won deal. - AI-Assisted Copywriting: Use AI tools to generate and test ad copy variants at scale, accelerating iteration cycles. - Smart Bidding: Apply AI-powered bid management and audience segmentation tools where they improve performance. - SEO Strategy & Execution - Keyword Strategy: Develop and execute a keyword strategy grounded in buyer intent rather than volume alone. - Content Direction: Brief and guide the Content team on page structure, headers, and on-page optimisation. - Technical Direction: Define technical SEO requirements and hand off to the HubSpot & Web Operations Specialist for implementation. - Performance Tracking: Track organic performance in Search Console and rank-tracking tools; report progress against targets. - AI-Powered Research: Use AI tools for rapid keyword clustering, gap analysis, and SERP research - compressing work that used to take days into hours. - Briefing at Scale: Produce AI-assisted content briefs that allow writers and designers to work faster without sacrificing quality. - Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) - AEO Strategy: Develop a strategy to earn citations in AI-generated answers across the major AI search and answer platforms. - Schema Direction: Define structured data and schema requirements; partner with the HubSpot specialist for implementation. - Citation Tracking: Monitor brand mentions and citations in AI search results; iterate content strategy based on findings. - LLM Indexing Trends: Stay ahead of how LLMs index and surface B2B SaaS content - translate emerging research into executable experiments. - Testing & Iteration: Actively prompt and interrogate AI models to test how xtm.ai content is surfaced and cited today. - Measurement & Attribution - Attribution Model: Define how paid and organic search is attributed in HubSpot and Salesforce; partner with RevOps on data integrity. - Dashboards: Build and own search performance dashboards; present ROI and channel contribution to leadership. - AI Reporting: Use AI summarisation tools to synthesise performance data and accelerate reporting cycles. Qualifications - 2–4 years of hands-on paid search experience - you have set up campaigns from scratch, not just inherited and managed them. - Google Ads certification preferred; demonstrable track record of optimising campaigns for lead quality and CAC. - Solid organic SEO skills — keyword research, on-page briefing, and performance tracking. - Genuine understanding of AEO and how AI models surface and cite content. - Active daily user of AI tools in search work - comfortable using them for research, copywriting, and performance analysis. - Proficiency with Google Search Console, a rank-tracking tool, and Google Ads. - Experience using HubSpot for campaign tracking and attribution. - Strong analytical skills - comfortable in data, able to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Core Competencies - Commercial acumen - you optimise for pipeline and revenue, not clicks and rankings. - AI Fluency - you use AI tools daily and understand how they change both how you work and what you are optimising for. - Analytical rigour - you build stories from data and communicate them simply. - Cross-functional collaboration - you brief designers, writers, and engineers without losing momentum. Benefits - Professional development, with access to international opportunities and career advancement programs. - Continuous learning, powered by top-tier tools, training resources, and industry expertise. - Benefits may vary by location — your Talent Partner will provide full details during the hiring process.
