• Facilitate HR processes, including handbook creation, job descriptions, compensation analysis, and compliance-related tasks. • Conduct client interviews and partner with HR Primary to develop and finalize employee handbooks. • Complete Forms I-9, verify documentation, conduct audits, and maintain accurate employee records. • Reconcile benefits statements and assist with benefits-related administration. • Support recruitment coordination, including tracking candidate status in HRIS systems and managing follow-up communications. • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot HRIS platforms (including Paylocity, ADP, Paycor, and similar systems). • Engage directly with clients as needed to support HR initiatives, system solutions, and issue resolution. • Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and user experience.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • At least two (2) years of related experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Paylocity, ADP, Paycor, or similar systems required
  • Experience supporting system configurations, audits, or implementations preferred
  • SHRM-CP credential preferred
  • Payroll and benefits experience preferred

Role Description The Pharmacy Technician in the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) Clinical Contact Center is part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. The incumbent is a certified pharmacy technician responsible for the technical management of all patient care assistance activities, ensuring that daily work assignments are completed in a timely, efficient, and customer-oriented manner. - Work collaboratively with VISN programs, services, and interdisciplinary team members to provide access to care and meet the needs of Veterans, their family members, and/or legal representatives via various contact modalities including telephone calls, secure messaging, chat, text messaging, and video. - Routinely review computer medication profiles for therapeutic duplication, prescription non-compliance, allergies, and drug interactions; seek assistance from a Clinical Pharmacist or supervisor for further evaluation if needed. - Process and submit patient requests for new prescription orders and renewal requests, including controlled substances, accurately and in a timely manner. - Consistently document patient contact and resolution in VISN Clinical Contact Center software and/or Electronic Health Records (EHR). - Assist in training lower graded technicians and technician students. - Assist in the completion of workload for other VISN Clinical Contact Center Pharmacy Services during Natural Disasters, low staffing, and other contingency needs. - Perform all duties of lower graded technicians if required. - Treat all Veterans with respect and dignity; seek to solve Veteran's concerns at first contact and refer to other VA resources when necessary. - Seek assistance from designated Lead Technician, a pharmacist, or supervisor when responding to unusual questions or when attempts to satisfy a caller have been unsuccessful. - Follow applicable regulations and instructions regarding access to computerized files; ensure EHR access is maintained. - Participate in continuous daily improvement and VISN VA Health Connect initiatives. - Maintain National Pharmacy Technician Certification. - Complete additional duties as assigned.
