Business Development Executive

• Source and qualify new leads through inbound, outbound, event-driven, and prospecting. • Build and manage a healthy, balanced, full-funnel sales pipeline across all Sutherland services. • Position Sutherland’s digital-first, AI-enabled solutions effectively by understanding client pain points. • Leverage customer, operational, and market data to present clear, business-impacting value propositions. • Initiate and support executive-level conversations with prospective clients, including CxOs. • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive movements, and emerging technology innovations to inform sales strategies. • Partner with marketing, tech, and delivery teams to align go-to-market efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Data Science, Technology, or related field.
  • Prior experience in a B2B, technology-driven consulting, inside sales, or digital transformation sales environment.
  • Familiarity with BPO, IT services, or enterprise solutions preferred.
  • Deep understanding of AI, automation, cloud, SaaS, and digital CX platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into sales strategies.
  • Ability to develop compelling ROI models and business-impact cases.
  • Awareness of industry disruptions, competitor strategies, and digital trends.
  • Proficient in customer journey mapping, VoC analysis, and personalization tactics.
  • Capable of building executive-level relationships and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional skills in presenting data-supported narratives and influencing decision-makers.

Role Description BME Strategies is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Business Development to lead and execute the firm’s growth strategy for government contracts in Public Health. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing and managing government contracts, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth within the public sector. As a member of the BME Strategies leadership team, this role contributes to shaping firm-wide strategy and advancing the organization's long-term vision. This is a high-impact role that requires a blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of government procurement processes at the local and state levels.
