Information Systems Support Specialist

FOX Rehabilitation

Role Description The Information Systems Support Specialist’s responsibility is to provide a single point of contact for end users to receive hardware and application support within the practice's computing environment. This includes troubleshooting and configuring hardware, software and applications for all internal customers, such as operations, clinical and other business units. Please note - this position is fully remote and may require travel to Home Office located in Cherry Hill, NJ once a year. - Acts as software and hardware support for all FOX information systems to the entire practice, providing technical assistance to all staff. - Responds to all user requests in help desk system in accordance with practice SLA's for service and determines nature and extent of support needed. Provides support or escalates to the appropriate team member. - Responds to software problem calls on site or over the phone for users. Investigates error messages and determines resolution. Follow up on unresolved issues. - Documents all request for support in ticket system including in person and phone requests. - Communicates application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development team, and end users. - Office 365 Enterprise applications and collaboration tools administration, including desktop, web and mobile devices. - Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots a wide range of software used throughout the practice. Performs hardware/software upgrades to existing computer equipment as needed. - Maintains up-to-date expertise in FOX applications. - Other projects as assigned or as practice needs dictate. - Stays up to date on FOX practice-wide communications and initiatives. Qualifications - Associate's degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience. - Additional IT Certifications preferred. - Proficient in Microsoft Office 365. - Office 365 Enterprise administration. - Ideal candidate will possess electronic health records (EHR) systems experience, Raintree preferred. - Excellent technical knowledge of hardware, Windows 10 and Apple operating systems. - Knowledge navigating, using, supporting IOS and Android mobile platforms. - Excellent technical knowledge of computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. - Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and repair experience. - Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards. - Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides. - Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures. - Excellent customer service skills including written and verbal. - Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills. - Prior experience in a customer service-related role. - Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. - Must have reliable internet access from home. - Must be available for occasional evening and weekend work (scheduled in advance).
