Senior Scrum Master

• Facilitate Scrum events and coach teams to self-organize and continuously improve. • Design and lead retrospectives tailored to team needs. • Assess team Agile maturity and adjust coaching approach to match strengths and weaknesses. • Guide teams in applying lean and agile principles to improve delivery. • Support multiple interdependent teams in effectively working together in concert. • Foster collaboration between Scrum Teams and stakeholders. • Mediate conflicts and support team dynamics to ensure a healthy team environment. • Support onboarding and agile adoption for new team members and teams. • Identify and remove impediments to team progress. • Leverage empirical data to drive continuous improvement. • Prepare and present sprint reports including velocity, capacity, and predictability metrics. • Build and maintain workflows and automation to enhance team and department efficiency. • Collaborate with product teams on backlog management, coaching on prioritization best practices. • Assist in roadmap development and release forecasting using agile metrics. • Promote best practices in lean, iterative software delivery. • Develop working knowledge of our products to provide targeted coaching, help bridge gaps between teams working on related features, and help provide knowledge and context to others. • Share discussion topics and tactics to improve the effectiveness of the overall Agile team. • Help more junior Scrum Masters on their own professional journey through mentoring and less formal guidance. • Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and Project Managers on larger projects or implementations. • Tracks quarterly goals for team(s).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, information technology, or 5 years’ work experience in related field required.
  • 5+ years working in Scrum Master role.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.

The position is offered for a period of 3 years with the possibility of extension. The position is allocated at 295 hours. As a part-time lecturer for Global Health Stay in Nepal, we expect you to: - Plan, coordinate, and deliver a two-week, field-based Global Health course in Nepal (conducted biannually). - Serve as the on-site academic lead and course coordinator in Nepal, including organizing and facilitating field visits to relevant global and local healthcare institutions. - Provide academic and practical support to SDU students enrolled in the Global Health Stay in Nepal, including guidance related to course activities, internships, and clinical placements. - Assess student performance, including participation in examinations for Global Health Stay in Nepal. - Co-supervise master’s theses in Global Health, Medicine, or Public Health, as relevant to the programme. Qualifications - A candidate holding a PhD degree in Global Health or a closely related field will be preferred. - In-depth knowledge of the Nepalese context, including health systems and societal structures, combined with familiarity with the Danish higher education system. - Teaching experience within higher education in Denmark (preferred). - Preferably fluency in Nepali and English (spoken and written). - A strong professional and institutional network in Nepal that supports field-based teaching and learning activities. - High flexibility and adaptability, particularly in relation to field-based teaching, cross-cultural collaboration, and changing local conditions. - Strong organisational, coordination, and communication skills in an international and interdisciplinary academic environment. - The working language is English; you must be proficient in both written and spoken language.
