Role Description As a Model Trains Expert, you will curate high-quality auctions that attract engaged bidders and trusted sellers. Your expertise ensures each lot is relevant, accurately valued, and aligned with collector expectations. You contribute directly to the growth and success of your category by combining specialist knowledge with commercial judgement, maintaining transparency and building strong relationships within the model trains community. What You’ll Do - Evaluate and arrange model train lots submitted by users, ensuring each auction features attractive and relevant listings. - Create compelling weekly lot selections using your expertise and professional network. - Review titles, descriptions, and images to assess quality and provide accurate estimated values. - Safeguard transparent and fair transactions through consistent expert evaluation. - Communicate rejections professionally and diplomatically, maintaining strong seller relationships. - Collaborate with Sales to attract new sellers and diversify the range and quality of lots. - Partner with Marketing to increase bidder engagement and visibility for your auctions. Qualifications - Expert knowledge in Model Trains. - Strong commercial acumen and documented commercial experience. - An eye for trade and value within the collectibles market. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to act diplomatically in user disputes. - A network of potential sellers and experts within your field. - Good computer skills and confidence working with digital tools. - Good command of English, written and spoken. Requirements - This is a 100% remote role that can be based in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, or the United Kingdom. Total Rewards The salary range for this job is $140,000 - $185,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
