Job Description

Bookkeeper, Accountant

Wingman Group

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for Australian clients • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations • Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss (P&L) • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records • Process invoices, payments, and collections • Assist with BAS preparation and lodgement support • Ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations, including GST and FBT • Support payroll processing (if required) • Assist with year-end reporting and audit preparation • Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure accurate reporting

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping/accounting (REQUIRED)
  • Direct experience working with Australian clients or companies (REQUIRED)
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and compliance
  • Hands-on experience with GST, BAS, and FBT
  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup
