Role Description We are seeking experienced U.S. Legal Experts with a strong paralegal background to work as independent contractors. In this role, you will evaluate and improve AI-generated legal content by applying professional legal writing standards. - Review & Evaluate: Assess AI-generated legal documents, briefs, and responses for accuracy, clarity, and overall quality. - Compare Outputs: Analyze and rank responses from multiple AI models based on adherence to U.S. legal writing standards. - Apply Legal Standards: Evaluate content using key dimensions such as: - Terminological precision (correct legal terminology) - Syntactic accuracy (clear and correct sentence structure) - Formal legal tone and style - Logical structure and coherence of arguments - Perform Structured Assessments: Complete evaluation tasks (e.g., true/false, rankings, rubric-based scoring). - Provide Expert Insight: Identify weaknesses in AI-generated content and contribute to improving evaluation criteria. Qualifications - Proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Professional specializing in U.S. law. - Strong understanding of U.S. legal terminology, documentation, and writing standards. - Experience with legal research, document review, or compliance drafting. - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. - Comfortable working independently on web-based platforms. Requirements - Personal laptop or device. - Reliable high-speed internet connection. - Ability to meet deadlines and maintain consistent quality. Benefits - Compensation (United States Only): - Hourly (Sporadic Task-Based Work): $20–$23/hour (USD). Work is assigned on a task-by-task basis, with variable and intermittent workload. Ideal for contractors seeking flexible, part-time freelance work. Paid based on actual hours worked, with time tracked through the platform. - Retainer Model (Consistent Workload): Opportunity to transition into a retainer-based engagement for high-performing contractors. Workload may scale up to 40 hours per week, depending on project demand. Provides more consistent weekly hours and earning potential. Compensation remains within the agreed hourly range unless otherwise specified.
