Job Description
Associate QA Engineer
Funnel Leasing
• Collaborates with Developers and Product Management to ensure quality is applied throughout the software development life cycle • Primary catalyst for ensuring the right testing happens on team’s software releases • Partners with team to define quality standards, health and processes • Works with team to identify and mitigate risks • Ensures team has the right test cases for feature and regression testing • Creates a culture of continuous improvement and learning • Fosters collaboration within the team and across the company • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at the manager's discretion • Travel up to 5%
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or other relevant technical training or experience
- Ability to collaborate with and communicate effectively to teams having both a technical and non-technical audience
- Experience in QA or software development, or relevant work experience (customer support, product management, user research, business analytics, etc)
- Preferred experience in testing native mobile iOS and/or Android apps
- Familiarity in being able to test software and write automated tests (eg, Playwright)
- Ability to read requirements for a product and create a plan for testing those requirements
- Understanding of web technologies (REST APIs, HTTP, HTML)
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to learn quickly, act on received feedback to improve, and desire to make an immediate impact together
