Role Description The H&R Block Virtual Instructor is responsible for preparing and facilitating training classes for a variety of virtual courses and students at H&R Block. Day to day, you'll... - Attend required instructor training programs to study course design, appropriate teaching techniques and administrative duties associated with teaching the course. - Follow all instructor processes and procedures such as instructor verification and other attendance specific requirements. - Prepare for class by ensuring that the virtual delivery location is set up, all equipment is properly functioning, and phone/internet is working. - Review and utilize all course materials, including Instructor Guides, Participant Guides, handouts, and other teaching aids prior to class to deliver course content as designed including completion of all exercises. - Present and facilitate training classes using a variety of techniques such as exercises, case studies, skills practice, along with question-and-answer sessions. - Present course content and facilitate the discussion of tax and H&R Block policy and procedures (as required) by drawing on the existing knowledge of students and engaging learners to apply and extend learning. - Use a variety of facilitation methods and skills to convey course information. - Stimulate and sustain student motivation and engagement through techniques such as whiteboard, polling, Q&A, class exercises and case studies. - Use available media to reinforce student learning: Media may include but is not limited to Microsoft Teams, whiteboard, use of software, external websites, and demonstrations. - Successfully integrate BlockWorks, Inkling eBooks, Microsoft Forms and other applicable software in course delivery. - Record attendance in a timely manner. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - 2 years minimum related work experience. - 2 years minimum experience preparing tax returns, including the most recent tax season. Requirements - Two to three years combined experience as a Tax Training School (TTS) instructor. - Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent and passing the test with a grade of 70% or better. - Successful completion and/or equivalent tax desk experience for all courses they will be teaching. - Achieved a level of proficiency using Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft Office Suite programs. - Additional state and local requirements may apply. Pay Range The pay range for this position is $12.00 - $22.00/Hr. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.

• Drive key aspects of integrated planning and forecasting across revenue and expense, including planning cadence, key assumptions, and executive narrative. • Partner closely with business teams to understand performance drivers, challenge assumptions, and align on a shared view of what is changing in the business and why. • Improve forecast quality by identifying gaps between modeled outputs and business reality, particularly in situations with incomplete or conflicting data. • Surface and frame key tradeoffs, risks, and uncertainties to support decision-making, especially when data is inconclusive or evolving. • Partner with Investor Relations and LRP teams to ensure alignment between internal forecasts, long-range planning, and external messaging. • Help create and continuously uplevel corporate materials, ensuring clear, consistent, and decision-oriented communication. • Collaborate across Data Science, Accounting, Treasury/Tax, and FP&A to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and a cohesive view of performance across the CFO organization.

The School of Health Sciences invites applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track faculty position in the Nutrition & Dietetics Program from individuals with expertise and practice in nutrition. This is a full-time appointment with rank Instructor through Senior Instructor, rank will be determined at point of hire based on qualifications and experience. Start date is August 1, 2026. Responsibilities of the position in the spring include: (1) teaching graduate clinical courses in the Dietetic Internship program; (2) advising and mentoring students; (3) shepherding the self-study; and (4) serving as the Interim Dietetic Internship Program Director and Clinical Education Coordinator.
