Job Description

Patient Dining Manager

Aramark

• Makes daily, weekly and quarterly updates in CBORD patient menu system including building new menu items, patient diets, food allergen tagging, and nutrition information. • Conducts review of all menu items and nutrition information quarterly for compliance. • Maintains CBORD floor stock system and updates as necessary. • Creates and analyzes patient dining reports on a regular basis. • Troubleshoots patient dining issues on an ongoing basis. • Collaborates with diet office, dietitians, food service managers and hospital administration. • Reviews patient dining policies quarterly and makes suggestions for updates as required. • Visits hospital locations quarterly to conduct audits, training and updates with the food service teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics or similar field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Active Registered Dietitian credential with CDR required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive acute care or long term care experience in food service operations required.
  • Strong working knowledge of patient dining software.
  • CBORD knowledge highly preferred.
  • Solid computer proficiency with IT programs and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills for various groups including hospital administration.
