Role Description The Payroll Analyst supports payroll and compensation functions by ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of employee pay, deductions, and related data across the organization. This role assists with end-to-end payroll processing, performs reconciliations and audits, and partners with the Payroll Manager to support retirement plan reporting (CALSTRS, CALPERS, 403(b)). Additionally, the Payroll Analyst provides data and reporting support to the Director of Human Resources, helping to monitor pay equity, salary structures, and total rewards programs. This dual-focus role combines technical payroll expertise with analytical insight to enhance accuracy, compliance, and strategic decision-making across the People function. Qualifications - AA degree or equivalent experience - 2–4 years of payroll, accounting, or HR data experience required - Strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS/payroll platforms - Knowledge of CALSTRS, CALPERS, and 403(b) plan administration and reporting requirements strongly preferred - Basic understanding of compensation principles and pay equity practices - Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, with ability to analyze and present data - High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and collaboration skills across HR, Finance, and employee groups Requirements - Support accurate payroll processing through auditing, reconciliations, and data validation in ADP - Provide reporting and analysis to Payroll Manager and Director of Human Resources on payroll accuracy, pay trends, and compensation programs - Assist with retirement plan administration (CALSTRS, CALPERS, 403(b)) by preparing files, reports, and reconciliations - Perform a variety of complex, advanced-level accounting duties to evaluate and ensure compliance with District, state, and federal requirements - Partner with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams to ensure compliance with union agreements, wage and hour laws, and compensation policies - Maintain payroll and compensation data integrity for audits, compliance reporting, and employee inquiries - Prepare, audit, reconcile, and maintain a variety of financial and statistical records, reports and statements in support of assigned activities - Act as a resource for employees regarding payroll and compensation questions, supporting a service-oriented approach Benefits - Full Time: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm - Salaried Position: $74,000 - $85,000 - Remote/Virtual Position - Health, dental, and vision benefits for full-time employees - Training for all programs - Support system from staff

• Maintain our cookie consent management platform (CMP), ensuring banners, categories, and consent records are accurate and up to date • Conduct periodic cookie audits to identify new or changed cookies and update the CMP accordingly • Monitor for compliance with applicable regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, CIPA,ePrivacy, etc.) • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming Data Subject Access Requests and deletion/opt-out requests that come through our CMP • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, product, customer support) to locate, compile, and deliver responsive data • Flag edge cases, legal holds, or high-risk requests for escalation • Process DROP requests within the required 45-day timeframe, ensuring deletion is completed across all relevant data systems • Maintain documentation and audit trails of DROP request fulfillment

• Respond to incidents and requests reported by users, ensuring timely and high-quality responses. • Participate in war rooms, contributing to the rapid resolution of critical incidents. • Monitor and ensure compliance with SLAs, tracking deadlines and priorities. • Focus on efficient resolution of prioritized incidents and problems. • Contain incidents, whenever possible, before escalating to higher support levels. • Analyze incident recurrence, identify patterns, and propose improvements or preventive actions. • Review and analyze source code to identify errors and failures. • Evaluate database scripts and technical reports to identify the root cause of incidents. • Use monitoring and observability tools, such as Datadog, to analyze logs and support ticket handling. • Develop intelligent automations aimed at reducing Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) and improving operational efficiency. • Create and maintain AI prompts and agents for technical support, incident analysis, ticket categorization, and team assistance.

• Own the Shopper Behavioral Analysis process and assist our sales team in turning segmentation analysis into closed deals • Own product analytics for the Shopper Operations Platform (SOP); Analyze product data and work with the product and engineering teams to drive product improvements • Partner cross-functionally with the Risk and Data (RAD) team to help build new fraud analysis and translate that analysis into easy-to-understand reporting; stay current on model and product changes, and translate those changes into merchant-facing insights • Partner with sales, merchant success and growth teams to deliver data and analysis that helps retain and upsell merchants • Work closely with data engineering and product teams to align data reporting needs with the internal data model • Contribute to building a more scalable, sophisticated reporting pipeline over time
