• Review functional specifications and technical design documents, providing meaningful feedback and using AI-assisted analysis to identify edge cases or logic gaps early in the SDLC. • Work closely with development teams to identify test cases for automation and leverage AI-powered IDEs (like Cursor or Augment) to rapidly prototype and scaffold new test suites. • Design, develop, and execute test cases against product features and backend systems. • Maintain and extend automation frameworks (Playwright/Locust) by utilizing LLMs for code refactoring, optimizing test scripts, and reducing flaky test patterns. • Contribute to your development team on best practices, processes, and problem-solving, including the ethical and effective use of AI tools in the QA workflow. • Develop automated test result reports and highlight any potential quality risks. • Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs to resolution, using AI tools to assist in root cause analysis and log interpretation. • Be an advocate for automation: Partner with the engineering team to provide recommendations on how to decrease manual efforts through automated solutions and AI-driven test generation. • Experience designing evaluation frameworks for LLM-powered features, including prompt regression testing and behavioral drift detection. • Proactively leverage AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, etc…) to accelerate test authoring, debugging, and maintenance of automation frameworks. • Use AI to diagnose failures, generate test scenarios, and improve coverage and efficiency. • Contribute to testing strategies for AI-powered features, including validation of LLM outputs, edge cases, and reliability. • Drive best practices for the ethical and effective use of AI tools within QA workflows and across the broader engineering team.

• You will report to the Manager of Software Development and drive the development and execution of automated and manual tests for a wide range of APIs utilizing multiple technologies and platforms. • In this role you will translate complex test scenarios into effective, intuitive, and repeatable automated tests. • You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated tests, enhancing and optimizing existing automation frameworks, and architecting new testing solutions when needed • You will create and execute comprehensive manual test strategies, accurately document test results, diagnose complex issues, and create detailed defects with root cause analysis • You will design and implement test data management strategies, creating robust data generation tools and frameworks to support both manual and automated testing needs • You will lead and perform functional, application, regression, integration, performance, load, and security testing, establishing testing standards and methodologies • You will develop an expert-level understanding of our application architecture, which will allow you to anticipate complex feature requirements, identify architectural gaps, edge cases, and potential system vulnerabilities • You will mentor scrum teams in an agile environment, driving collaboration with developers, testers, product owners and cross-functional teams to establish testing excellence and continuously innovate our testing approaches • You will engage with software release processes, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure smooth deployments, release risks, and establishing production monitoring strategies • You will collaborate with root cause analysis initiatives, systematically analyzing logs and system behavior, resolving complex defects, and implementing preventive measures to reduce future issues • You will establish and champion testing best practices across the organization, driving process improvements, implementing quality metrics, and mentoring team members on testing methodologies

• Work closely with the QA Automation Architect to build, maintain, and evolve scalable and reusable test automation frameworks covering both UI and API layers. • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI workflows and API endpoints, supporting functional, regression, and performance testing requirements across the platform. • Ensure automation solutions integrate seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback loops. • Contribute to automation best practices, coding standards, and shared tooling to support QA engineers across squads. • Identify gaps in test coverage and work proactively to address them through expanded automation. • Pick up and validate tickets from the Platform squad, testing and verifying platform-level changes as part of the broader QA workflow. • Leverage AI tools and agent-based frameworks (e.g., Claude or similar LLMs) to accelerate test generation, maintenance, and coverage expansion. • Build and refine agent skills and prompting strategies that enable reliable, repeatable AI-assisted test authoring. • Collaborate with the QA Automation Architect to integrate AI-assisted approaches into the broader automation workflow in a maintainable and scalable way. • Stay current on emerging AI tooling relevant to software testing and advocate for adoption where it delivers measurable value. • Assist in the design and execution of performance and load testing efforts to validate application behavior under realistic and peak conditions. • Work with tools such as JMeter, k6, or similar to build performance test suites and analyze results. • Identify performance bottlenecks and communicate findings clearly to engineering and product stakeholders. • Partner with developers, QA engineers, and the QA Automation Architect to ensure automation efforts align with feature development and application requirements. • Analyze test execution results and provide clear reporting on defects, coverage, and automation health. • Share knowledge and provide guidance to QA engineers building automation skills across squads. • Advocate for continuous improvement in testing processes, tooling, and infrastructure.
