Associate Product Designer
AvidXchange, Inc.
• Assist in designing user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications • Translate requirements from product managers and stakeholders into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes • Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet user experience standards • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions • Support the creation and maintenance of design systems, patterns, and style guides • Iterate on design solutions based on feedback from users, peers, and stakeholders • Contribute to cross-functional team discussions, providing design insights and recommendations • Document design processes and decisions to maintain transparency and team alignment • Stay up-to-date with design trends, best practices, and emerging tools to continuously improve design quality
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodology
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Strong visual design skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Good communication skills to explain design decisions clearly
- Eagerness to learn, receive feedback, and grow professionally in a design role
- Portfolio demonstrating design work for web or mobile applications is preferred.
