Role Description We are seeking passionate Native-level English-Speaking ELA Content Teachers to join our online teaching team. The ideal candidates are experienced with elementary English instruction (particularly in the U.S. public/private/charter school context), skilled at teaching Reading, Speaking, and Writing, and committed to nurturing English literacy in young learners. You will help deliver engaging live classes based on Think Academy's ELA curriculum. As an ELA Remote Teacher at Think Academy, your responsibilities include: - Teach online ELA classes focusing on Reading & Speaking and Reading & Writing skills. - Prepare and deliver well-structured lessons using Think Academy's curriculum resources. - Actively engage and manage a virtual classroom of up to ~10 students. - Grade student work, provide timely feedback, and track student progress. - Communicate professionally with students and parents regarding learning goals and performance. - Participate in regular teacher training, curriculum discussions, and professional development. Qualifications - Native-level English speaker with excellent command of American English. - U.S. public/private/charter school ELA teaching experience preferred (1st–4th grade focus ideal). - Bachelor's degree (any field) required; Education/ELA/English majors preferred. - Strong understanding of elementary reading instruction, literacy development, and writing support. - Comfortable with online teaching technology and virtual classroom management. - Enthusiastic, student-centered, and able to inspire young learners. Requirements - Commitment to at least one full semester (Spring/Summer/Fall) preferred. Benefits - Base Pay: Starting from $35 USD per teaching hour. - Non-Teaching Fee: $16-20/hour; Includes class preparation and after-class services such as grading homework, replying to parent messages, periodically giving feedback, etc. - Retention Bonus: Teachers are eligible for a student retention bonus (performance-based incentive tied to class retention). - Additional compensation for lesson planning, training, and teacher development may apply. - Flexible schedule suited for educators seeking part-time online work.

Role Description As part of EDC’s Be Well strategy, the Maternal Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Technical Assistance Resource Center (TARC) is looking for a part-time (75% level of effort) Programmatic Training and Technical Assistance Associate II position. The Programmatic Training & Technical Assistance Associate II will provide programmatic technical assistance for the MIECHV TARC awardees funded by HRSA’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau. The TARC supports MIECHV awardees in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and five territories in strengthening home visiting services to improve outcomes for pregnant women, children, and families. The TARC is a multidisciplinary team of specialists that work together to provide high quality, comprehensive technical assistance. This role is contingent on project funding. You Will: - Deliver voluntary, virtual technical assistance relevant to maternal and child health, program design, implementation, workforce development, and early childhood systems to assigned awardees. - Collaborate with other TA specialists, each of whom specializes in a particular area such as data, quality improvement, evaluation and/or fiscal TA. - Collaborate with HRSA project officers on how to best meet the needs of awardees to whom they are assigned. - Contribute to universal technical assistance activities and products such as webinars, written products. - Co-lead and co-facilitate communities of practice on a topic of interest generated by awardees. - Collaborate with other TA specialists to deliver small group TA to awardees who are seeking TA around a particular theme. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required. - 7 – 10 years related experience, including at least three years providing direct technical assistance and expertise to local/state public health-related professionals. - Direct experience and expertise in the following content areas: - Home visiting program implementation, including program development, implementation, innovation and advancements, and performance; family recruitment, retention, partnership, and engagement; utilizing new technologies; impacts of public health emergencies on service delivery; serving priority populations and underserved families and communities; and serving Tribal communities. - Home visiting workforce, including staff recruitment and retention, leadership and professional development, capacity-building, and reflective supervision, in each case, through both in-person and virtual modalities. - Behavioral health and related topics and their effects on pregnant women and families with young children and interventions to support impacted families, including maternal depression; intimate partner violence; substance use disorder; trauma-informed and trauma-responsive approaches; and early childhood mental health consultation. - Needs assessments, including applying needs assessment findings to improve access to and quality of home visiting services. - Group facilitation, including effective facilitation strategies and methods for engaging participants virtually. - Consultative, quality assurance, and continuous quality improvement methods, Active Implementation; and Process Consultation or similar strategies.
