Senior QA Automation Engineer

• A dynamic QA team, working collaboratively to ensure and improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of the Automation framework • You will be using the new automation tools for record and capture, which are at the forefront of automation testing but also manual testing will be involved • You will also collaborate with the development teams to ensure the test scenarios for the backend members • Additionally, you'll be working with their Java-based API testing solution using the Cucumber framework, contributing to robust and scalable e2e automation

Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of automation best practices and design patterns, with several years of hands-on experience working with Java (JVM)
  • Solid experience with REST API testing (REST Assured, Postman, Insomnia, cURL, OpenAPI, Swagger, HTTP)
  • Solid experience with Gherkin (Cucumber)
  • Solid experience in manual testing
  • Hands-on experience on UI testing (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
  • Self driven individual
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal communication and good interpersonal skills
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English

You will be responsible for: - Contributing to the end-to-end architecture, definition, development, and production deployment of production software applications and infrastructure spanning multiple customers and manufacturing regions. - Interfacing with internal engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams and our end customers to ensure your software deliverables meet the rigorous standards of Jabil’s world-class manufacturing environments. What will you do? - Test System Development: Design and develop test systems and procedures for hardware validation during the manufacturing processes. This includes creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts to assess the functionality and performance of hardware components or devices such as motherboard, memory, CPU, storage (SSD, HDD, NVMe), and PCIE devices (NIC, GPU, Mezz cards, RAID cards). - Test Software Development: Create, validate, release, and maintain test software and scripts that automate the testing process.
