Mathematics Teacher, Part-Time – Online Instruction
Think Academy
• Deliver online mathematics lessons in French to French or Francophone kindergarten and primary (elementary) students. • Use proprietary teaching materials developed by Think Academy France. • Teach using the dedicated Think Academy France application. • Participate in mandatory training and pedagogical events to ensure high teaching quality and to foster students' interest in mathematics. • Actively participate in collective lesson preparation meetings (briefings) and in content approvals. • Provide lesson plans (class preparations). • Propose improvements to content or teaching methods based on student feedback. • Provide targeted support to students according to their learning level. • Design and implement support plans to meet students' specific needs. • Assign regular homework and grade it. • Regularly assess student progress through quizzes and tests. • Provide detailed feedback on progress and communicate with parents about their child's learning. • Conduct trial lessons (introductory classes).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Pedagogy, Educational Sciences, or a related field (preferred).
- International experience will be valued.
- Passion for teaching and a strong interest in working with children.
- High sense of responsibility, professionalism, and reliability.
- Clean criminal record certificate (required).
- Prior experience teaching mathematics at the primary/elementary level (school, organization, or private tutoring) is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- French as a native language or near-native proficiency in French (CEFR level C1 minimum).
- Ability to teach in French fluently and pedagogically (mandatory).
