Middle School Math Instructor
Think Academy U.S
• Teach math classes in a clear, engaging, and student-centered way • Deliver lessons using Think Academy’s curriculum, lesson materials, and instructional guidance • Support students in building strong understanding of math topics including Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 • Manage a virtual or in-person classroom and create a positive, high-expectation learning environment • Grade homework and provide timely academic feedback • Communicate professionally with students and parents about progress, performance, and learning goals • Participate in teacher training, lesson preparation, and ongoing professional development • Work approximately 30–40 hours per week, with most classes scheduled during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress
- Strong math foundation and comfort with middle school math topics or above
- Passion for teaching and supporting student growth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to commit at least one semester with fixed teaching schedule (Fall semester ends in Dec. 2026)
- Available to work during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends
- Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, camp teaching, classroom teaching, or working with students is a plus
- Math competition background (such as AMC or related experience) is a plus, but not required
- Available to attend a 5-day on-site training (paid) in San Jose, CA as part of onboarding
