Job Description
Senior Growth Lead I DTC E-Commerce
GETHR
Role Description We're hiring a hands-on Growth Operator / Head of Marketing to take ownership of the performance engine of a fast-scaling DTC e-commerce brand. This is not a typical management role. You will work directly with the founder and be responsible for driving growth across markets, channels, and funnels. You don't need to have done this exact role before—BUT you need to be a builder who figures things out fast and gets things done. If you combine analytical thinking with hands-on e-commerce experience and an ownership mentality, this role is for you. - Performance marketing across Meta, Google, AppLovin (Axon), and Taboola - Creative strategy—identifying winning hooks, angles, and concepts - Copywriting—ads, landing pages, funnels, and product pages - Funnel optimization—CRO, upsells, cross-sells, and conversion rate improvements - Scaling paid traffic and improving ROAS across all channels - Team leadership—managing and scaling a creative team (starting with video editors; you'll be responsible for hiring 2-3 additional video editors in your first 90 days) By "hands-on," we mean you personally execute—you're not delegating everything to a team on day one. You're in the Meta Ads Manager, you're writing copy, you're analyzing data, and you're building the playbooks that the team will eventually follow. Qualifications - 2+ years hands-on experience in DTC / e-commerce with specific examples of brands or accounts you've directly managed - Strong familiarity with Shopify and Meta Ads Manager - Solid understanding of performance marketing and numbers (ROAS, CAC etc.) - Fluent English (written and spoken)—clear communication is essential - Operator mindset—get things done, remove blockers, and take accountability for results Requirements - A builder/operator, not "just" a manager - Fast in understanding problems and finding solutions - Data-driven, but also creative in execution - Someone who takes ownership instead of waiting for instructions - Direct, honest, and easy to work with—no politics, no fluff - Collaborative—lift the team up, not a lone wolf Dealbreaker: - Job hopping (less than 18 months at recent roles) - Cannot communicate in English at a very high level - No experience with Shopify or Meta Ads Manager - No spreadsheet/data fluency Benefits - Base salary: $100,000 – $120,000 USD (depending on experience and proven track record) - Performance bonus (Year 2+): Meaningful upside tied to revenue growth and contribution margin—strong performers realistically reach $150K–$200K+ total compensation in Year 2 - Long-term equity: Phantom stock available after 2 years of tenure (share in exit value) - Profit share: Relative profit share tied to incremental revenue/profit you personally drive - This is a rare opportunity to build real wealth alongside a founder in a scaling business Setup - Location: Dubai based at least 6 months per year, working from our office alongside the founder for close day-to-day collaboration - Remote flexibility: The remaining 6 months can be worked remotely with travel flexibility - Relocation support: We support visa sponsorship and relocation logistics for the right hire Company Description GETHR ist Dein idealer Partner für innovatives HR-Management.
