• Acts as a technical leader responsible for the design, development, and implementation of protective relay settings • Performs short-circuit and symmetrical component analysis • Conducts time-current coordination, relay settings development, commission assistance, and protection system event analysis • Provides technical guidance to other engineers

• Carry out statutory and non‑statutory inspections safely, accurately, and on time, ensuring all findings are independently assessed, objectively reported, and compliant with quality standards, customer requirements, and KPIs • Apply sound technical and engineering judgement, using knowledge of asset failure and degradation mechanisms to support inspection decisions and provide limited technical and legislative guidance within defined scope • Maintain full compliance with inspection scopes, procedures, policies, and reporting guidelines, acting at all times with integrity • Proactively manage health, safety, and environmental risks by conducting robust risk assessments, using SGS‑issued equipment correctly, and championing safe working behaviours in line with legislation and company policy • Support departmental performance by providing technical guidance to colleagues and delivering all inspection activities in a commercially focused manner that contributes to service quality and profitability

• Lead the design and engineering of complex commercial and/or utility-scale PV systems. • Develop and review system layouts, electrical single-line diagrams, grounding plans, and equipment specifications. • Perform detailed electrical calculations, system modeling, and performance optimization analyses. • Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and regulations (NEC, local AHJs, utility requirements). • Coordinate with project electrical engineer for the establishment of utility interconnection agreements. • Serve as the technical authority for resolving design challenges and constructability issues. • Collaborate with electrical engineers to create bid document drawing sets to obtain quotes for installation of solar PV systems. • Work with vendors to obtain quotes for modules, inverters, and racking systems that are included in design. • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success. • Contribute to the evaluation of the technical and financial feasibility of solar projects, taking into account factors such as site conditions, equipment specifications, and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors and other engineers, to ensure the successful integration of solar PV systems into building designs and infrastructure projects. • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging solar technologies, incorporating this knowledge into the design and development of cutting-edge solar solutions. • Contribute to the organization’s strategic planning and decision-making related to solar engineering initiatives.

Role Description Lead commissioning of generator excitation and / or frequency converter systems. - Take responsibility for configuring, testing, start up and commissioning of excitation and drive systems including auxiliaries. - Work on large scale power plants or industrial plants worldwide. - Collaborate with Commissioning Engineers and Customers of various background and expertise. - Troubleshoot problems on excitation and converters in collaboration with other technical experts. Qualifications - Electrical Technician or Engineering degree. - Hands-on experience with commissioning power electronic equipment of proven manufacturers. - Preferably experience with established products in this field (for instance Siemens RG3-S, ABB Unitrol, GE LS2100 etc.). - Willingness to work internationally on challenging commissioning projects. - You are a team player and do well with interactions with customers / co-workers / etc. of other cultures. - Ability to communicate in English.
