Role Description As a Junior Data Analyst, you’ll support the Content Strategy Team, leveraging your SQL and data visualization skills to uncover key insights within the dynamic online video industry. Our ideal candidate is a proactive learner and well-rounded performer who can "crunch the numbers" in a high-energy growth environment. You should be a self-starter who can partner with stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. - Skill Development: Deepen your expertise in SQL, schema design, and dashboarding within Client’s massive data infrastructure. - High Impact: Directly contribute to the visibility of Client’s operations by building the tracking for key performance indicators. - Cross-functional: Work as an integral member of a team that partners with internal stakeholders and business leads to solve immediate operational challenges. - Dynamic Environment: Adapt your analytical approach in a fast-paced environment where data-driven insights are needed in real-time. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline. - 1+ years of experience in operations analytics or business analytics. - Proficient in advanced SQL for complex data querying, database definition and schema design. - Proficiency in Google Suite (e.g., Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides). - Proven experience in building and presenting operational dashboards. - Deep interest in the online video industry, digital media consumption patterns, and technology business principles. - Demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas and large datasets into simple and intuitive communications, balancing deep analytical rigor with actionable insights. - Passion for data analytics and infrastructure. - Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Requirements - This is an hourly position. The base salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. - Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. - Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays, and paid learning days.
